Ive baked countless cz rings. They all have turned out wonderful. Your ring isnt rose gold. It’s plated. Maybe thats why youre so mad?

amaberry :  besides, it makes no sense to “re-size” this ring. the cost of resizing is surely as much as (if not more than) buying another copy of this ring in the correct size to begin with.

I’m sorry this happened, but there is no way that ring was rose gold, as in 14kt, 18kt gold. It may have been plated to look like rose gold, but I assure you that when it is heated, gold does not become silver with blue splotches.

ETA : I saw you had this ring in a Zales box in another thread and you said it was 10kt gold. I don’t see anything like that ring on their site. It’s quite likely that whoever sold you that ring was dishonest.

Let me get this straight. You’re mad at this site and a bunch of random strangers because you did something that ruined your ring. Sorry about your ring, but this one is on you.

The camera on the 25 dollar phone isn’t good enough to capture the blue

Where the fuck do you get a $25 phone?

That’s definitely plating and not solid gold.

Try polishing it?

When I clicked on this I expected the ring to have  melted. Sorry, OP that’s not rose gold. Always check the specs before you experiment with jewelry. However, I bet you can have it replated.
