@mle4179:I’m sorry you had such a nightmare. Thanks for posting, I am also buying a Waters dress in the Bay Area and I will check the zipper quality and avoid Bay Area Bridal and their seamstress.  You should think about posting your experience on Yelp, you can reach more Bay Area brides that way.

I do hope the rest of your day was perfect!  It’s scary when you do realize the quality and cost of te dress versus what it actually costs to make the dress.  Waters & Waters is a reputable company but when it comes down to it, they see it as your day is over, you wore the dress the one time its meant for and no reason to refund you money.  Don’t get me wrong, I agree with you and hope you do win a suit against them,  Tip:  Make a list of tings you were limited to because of what happened(ie. certain pictures, dancing, etc).  Show it did affect your day other than the $ for the venue.  Did you contact the store when it happened?

any updates mle?  i cant believe that company is like that, they seem pretty big in nor cal, i see their ads all the time.
