So, since I am not married I cannot write a vendor review, but I really need I warn fellow bees: do not order from advantage bridal. First off, they do not have anything in stock and the “shipping times” are shipping times from when they decide to ship your order. For example, I ordered a pair of shoes and an “I Do” sticker to go on the bottom. Get a phone call saying that even tho I paid for the 4 to 10 business day shipping, it would be 4 to 10 business days AFTER September 24th because that is the date they will “try to” ship them. These shoes were not custom ordered….just regular old shoes. Ok, I think I’ll wait on that.
UNTIL, I get an email today saying that they do not have my shoes, but they will send a smaller size. WTF? So I write back and say “just cancel my order”. She says oh no we can’t reimburse you for the “I do” sticker because we already mailed it. Even though their previous voicemail said my order wasn’t shipping until the 24th. But when I asked for them yor reimburse me the shipping for the shoes (since a sticker doesn’t cost $5.99 to ship) she refused.
Whatever, I suck it up and order a pair of the same shoes off of Amazon. An hour later I get a shipping confirmation saying that my entire order (shoes and sticker) have shipped. (Funny how this stickersupposedly shipped already, but I don’t get a confirmation until AFTEr they screw up and I ask for my order to be cancelled.) So, I immediately try to contact the lady to confirm if this is true so that I can cancel my Amazon order, but now it is like I do not exist as a person to them. So who knows how many shoes i will end up getting. Besides Comcast, I have never been angry enough to write a negative review about a company before now. And I guess the situation isn’t THAT big of a deal, but I have no respect that give customers the run around and hide behind shady business policies. If you order from them do not order if you are on a time crunch because you WILL be disappointed.
