For brides looking to purchase your gowns or bridesmaid dresses here: DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY for the following reasons:
1) They charge a ridiculous price just to try on dresses
2) The owner is rude and uncooperative
3) check out other reviews for their other shop: The Bridal Gallery at MacGregor Village
I first visited last week to check out their variety of bridesmaid dresses for my wedding coming up next year. I found it odd that they did charge a “registration fee” of $20 just to try on dresses—keep in mind I already bought my wedding gown 6 months ago so I only needed to look at bridesmaid dresses. Foolishly, I went ahead and paid the fee because they said it can go towards my future purchases. UNFORTUNATELY, that’s not the case. I returned this week to ask about some accessories and a color swatch (which was already overpriced at $15). I wanted to make the purchase with my ridiculous fee from the week before. Not only did the owner refuse me but even after I tried to bargain by offering to purchase a number of accessories in addition to the swatch, she just kept explaining that I was “told already” that the fee only went towards bridal dresses–which I was not. After going back and forth for quite awhile, I finally left feeling disappointed, cheated, and incredibly dissatisfied.
I never raised my voice. I was perfectly reasonable. I originally wanted to purchase bridesmaid dresses from the shop
but after all that, I will never step into that store ever again. All I wanted was a color swatch to be sure about what I was ordering. The owner, an older Indian woman, never gave me her name (instead, told me to take a business card that conveniently lacked her name) and was very rude and walked away from this discussion. The entire time I felt like I was talking to a recording of what their policies were, over and over and over again. She was cold, insistant, unfriendly, and unreasonable.
For all you brides out there, it’s already so difficult to plan a wedding let alone pay for one. The industry would be much better off without business owners out there like this that only cares about taking your money and have no idea how a business should run.

Her name is Manu or something like that. I found her to be rude as well. How about when one of my bridesmaids went to pick up her dress and she was given the wrong one. When bm said “this is not the size I ordered” She was told that “Yes it is.” It turns out the owner had given her dress to another one of my bridesmaids who just took it without trying it on. Then the owner said “She took the wrong dress.” Ummm- no, you GAVE her the wrong dress.
I think they have the best selection of dresses (bridesmaids and wedding dresses) but I do feel that it is a very unprofessional store and the owner should take a class on treating customers with respect. The only time she was nice to me (the bride) was when my mom came with me for my final fitting. My mom said “she wasn’t that bad.” I said “That is the nicest she has been ever while I have been here.”
Uggghhh- even 7 1/2 months after the wedding I still have a sour taste in my mouth when I think about the experience there. Bleh!

I went in a few weeks ago to look at bridesmaid dresses and was told the same thing about having to pay $20 to even try on dresses. She was unpolite and glared at us the entire time we were looking at dresses. We didnt try anything on and ended up leaving beause it was just so ridiculous to pay to try on a dress that we may not even want!
We went to their sister store in Macgregor Village. The woman there was much much nicer, but they cant order bridesmaid dresses there. They just have the discontiued samples. But, they are all $80!! so if one wors for you, which it did for my Bridesmaid or Best Man then awesome!! They were a pleasure to deal with there and even held the dress for us for a day which they were not supposed to do.

Hahaha this happened to me as well with the 20 dollars and she was so rude! I am so happy that others felt the same way about this place! I wanted to tell the lady to chill out and take a break on the stares no one is going to ruin her precious dresses… Just to aggravate her I went thru the whole store and ran my hands all over ever dress and on my way out made the comment these dresses aren’t that great…

She was SOOOO RUDE to me as well. My friend and I are both getting married and she wouldn’t even help with getting on dresses and was very exasperated when I asked her to help me. She was very surly and has the general attitude of not being interested in selling wedding dresses….which is bizarre for a wedding store.

I thought about about going there. I even called to make an appointment after reading all the bad reviews. She was rude on the phone and kept me on hold FOREVER. I decided to just hang up and forget about it. So glad I did!

I went there a few weeks ago, everyone there seemed rude. I didn’t see anything I really wanted to try on so I left. I didn’t really want to shop there anyway after I found out about the $20.

I moved near this place and go shopping at the Lowes next door occasionally. I have been dying to know more about it. Now I wish I didn’t. Between this and yelp reviews, it’s no wonder that the place is ALWAYS closed whenever I pass it!
