That is the question! When I tried on dresses the other day and found, "The One" she put a veil on me which almost put me in tears! But then she also put on a head piece…which was a little too much bling for me and I didnt like it at all. I actually like how the veil looked by itself. So now the question is whether to have another accessory in my hair or not. I dont have any pictures just yet so I have nothing for you to compare it to…but are there any brides who are just wearing a veil and nothing else in your hair…do you have pictures? Im going to wear the veil tucked in the back of my hair. What do you think? Thanks Bees!

You totally don’t need a hairpiece AND a veil. Lots of brides don’t put the hairpiece in until they take their veil off. I wore a flower in my hair the whole time (with my veil and without), but it was in the back so I didn’t feel it cluttered up the look too much. I didn’t like the look of a tiara though, I felt too much like a beauty pageant queen in one, with my big crazy hair! The consultant was probably putting one in in hopes of selling it to you…. So I say wear the combination that you like best. If that’s just a veil, great! Or you could switch later in the day after you take off the veil.

I think it all depends on how your wearing your hair and what your style is.
If you have a super simple dress and simple hair style, a little something in your hair might really bring the whole look together. They have some really pretty flower hair pieces and also simple clips and combs that would be very pretty.
I also think that if you have a lot going on with your hairstyle and dress and jewelry; going with just a veil might be the perfect choice.
It really is up to you! 🙂 Its your day and you should do what makes you happy and feel beautiful.
