(Closed) Do other bees negative opinions about e-rings (like yours) upset you?

Yes, I get sad/angry, so I say something just as hurtful back!

No, I don't care at all. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I know what I like.

A little. But the negative thoughts gets "stuck" deep inside, and I think about them often.

Negative comments on Weddingbee have affected my ring choice!

Yes, and I let them know that it hurt me!

I have cried because of what someone said on weddingbee.

Comments on weddingbee have changed the way I look at my own ring! (In a negative way!)

I am ashamed of showing my ring on weddingbee.

    I just laugh at criticism!

It doesn’t bother me if others make comments that they don’t have the same style as me. I adore my ring, I don’t need anyone else to like it.

Nope. I have a moissy that is pretty large and there are many, many people on here who don’t like that. Fortunately for me though the unsolicited opinions of internet strangers are of little importance. I know who I am, what I stand for, and my reasons for choosing my ring. That’s pretty much all that matters.

It doesn’t bother me personally, but when I see comments about certain things being tacky, or not a real engagement ring or whatever it definitely gets under my skin because I know some bees might be hurt by it and it’s needless. Saying something isn’t someone’s personal style is just difference of opinion, but being catty and materialistic is another ballgame.

All I can say is that if you have cried over someones post of their opinion of a ring… Stay FAR away from the political threads ๐Ÿ˜‚

The only time I’ve cried over something I’ve read on the internet is when they have one of those stories about a soldier coming home from deployment and surprising their father at his office and the father breaks down crying in the middle of a meeting or something because his son or daughter is home safe and they hug and it’s freaking beautiful man, I love it.  I am tearing up right now just thinking of it.  If you don’t cry over that you’re pretty much a monster.

My ring though, shoot, who cares what anyone else thinks.

Ring choice or otherwise, nothing negative an internet stranger says will ever register beyond me clicking back on the browser.

I guess I don’t hang out on the rings boards much…are people really saying mean things about other people’s rings? All I’ve ever seen are “OMG gorgeous!!” and the like.

But seriously, I could not care less what other people (especially strangers on the internet) think of my ring. I love it and that’s all that matters.

bibilicious :  I have a cluster engagement ring…..that says it all really! I also have a marquise RHR which according to the Bee looks like a vagina!! All i can say is ‘I wish my lady parts looked that sparkly and pretty….if it did I’d be taking sun shots of it in my car instead of my ring and posting it on here!!!’ ๐Ÿ˜‰

I love my rings and I don’t really care what people think. Everyone has different tastes and nagative opinions don’t bother me. If people like something they’ll compliment it. If they don’t like it or generally notice they won’t say anything. The important thing is that you like what you own and wear.

Most of its uncalled for but fishing for compliments and openly asking what they think is another thing…

My ring. My finger. My life.> the faceless opinion of an internet stranger

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink. Who cares?

I have a princess solitaire, which I know many people dislike.  IDGAF.  I chose it and I love it.  It’s from Tiffany, which the Bee hates with a passion.  Again, IDGAF.  It’s where my husband wanted to shop and it was his money.
