I’ve bee thinking about my bridal bouquet lately and I have fallen in love with peonies (which I know it is super bad to fall in love with one specific flower because it might be out of season but I can’t help it my heart knows what it wants). I want my bouquet to be colored so that it pops with my dress. Does anyone know if peonies come in either a light lavender shade or a darker shade of purple?

With just a simple google search.. it doesn’t appear they do.
Could you maybe have a florist color them for you?

I just visited my florist today, and found out that, unfortunately, they do not.
I love peonies, but my colors are blue and purple, so I won’t be having them. If you talk with a florist, however, you may find some other beautiful flowers. I looked at pictures of lovely lavender roses today and fell in love with those!

I am pretty sure they come in white. Why can’t you just put some white ones in with the purple and blue?
They can also do wonders with some flowers and coloring. This is how they get rainbow roses and things like that.

Google images says they do! And Google never lies!

Why not do linens in blue/purple and have white flowers? There actually aren’t that many blue/purple flowers. The linens, bridesmaid dresses, etc etc make more of a color impact than the flowers anyway. You could also wrap the bouquets with colored ribbons.

I don’t know if peonies come in purple or not, but I stumbled across this pin on pinterest : http://pinterest.com/pin/73887250109171828/
Lilac English roses! Oh my goodness, so beautiful!! Makes me want to use them too, and purple isn’t even one of my colors hehe

Try finding purple garden roses. They have a variety that look a LOT like peonies, and they smell pretty great too! 🙂
