I sent my invites out last week and 18 of 86 people have said “yes”. I’ve not received a single “no” so far. Our venue capacity is 80 people, but I pushed it to 86 invited guests because I was sure we would get at least a half dozen respond “no”. There are a few invitations I haven’t mailed yet, but I need to do that soon to give everyone ample time to respond.
Maybe people hesitate to respond “no” right away because they want to see if they can make it or not for sure?
Our deadline is August 31 for RSVPs…I’ll be on pins and needles until then.

Most of my early responses were yes. I got some no’s in the middle and the vast majority of the no’s the week of my rsvp date. Everyone is different though maybe your no’s will come in faster.

I’m pretty aggravated because only 6 people have rsvped in the first week. Maybe because its an online rsvp? We sent out invites for 70 people.

We’ve gotten mainly yes responses so far, but we’ve gotten a few no responses too. Mainly from people who know they can’t travel for the wedding or who had already had things planned.

We had some delayed No’s so that people could try to make travel arrangments. Some of our guests were out of state and were trying to get lower airfare. Inviting 86 with a limit of 80 sounds very reasonable, i’m sure you’ll be fine!

That was our experience in general, but we also had a decent number of “on-the-fencers” accept at the last minute.
