the last two weddings that i went to didn’t have a bouquet or garter toss. we’re not going to do a garter toss for a couple of reasons… i think it’s an outdated tradition and isn’t the classiest thing to do at a wedding (no offense to anyone that had one, just my feelings). i also don’t like the idea of the guy catching it putting it on the leg of the girl who caught the bouquet.

Another one here, who will never be caught with FI’s hand up her dress in public.  No thank you.

I’m not doing a garter toss but I’m still wearing a garter…I don’t know why.  I guess I just feel sexier, and that’ll make me stand taller and really glow when the day comes.  It’s kinda like "Why do you buy sexy underwear?" And the answer is because I like it!  So even if you’re nixing the toss, go for it!!

I added a little charm that is special to my husband to be. I’m excited for him to see it on the wedding day. I’m still undecided about a garter toss because most of our guests are married. I bet after some open bar I’ll change my mind ๐Ÿ˜‰

I put one on for the sake of a couple cute getting-ready photos and a surprise for Mr Breezy later, but I didn’t take it off and toss it. Probably because I totally forgot I was wearing it. HA.

I’m wearing one (a Michigan one, as my "something blue"), but we are not doing the garter toss thing.

mr. bee didn’t want to do it, and i didn’t care, so i didn’t even wear a garter.

I’m torn about this issue as well. We’re DEFINITELY not doing the bouquet or garter toss. In Mr. PP’s group of friends, the guy who catches the garter puts it on the leg of the girl who catches the bouquet, and let me tell you, this is not a PG-13 event. Yikes. Mr. Powder Puff is dead set against the garter, and that is fine by me.

But I might like to wear one just because. It’s a bridal tradition, and it would look cute with my lingerie. So we’ll see I guess.

This post makes me feel so much better! I was worried that people would be like, WHY ISN’T SHE DOING THE GARTERRRR?? Oh that Laura! She’s no fun! *throws wedding cake bits at me*

… well maybe not that far. haha, but I was concerned about people missing it because it is one of the "fun" things… but as stated in other comments, I’m not terribly keen on the Mr’s ultra conservative grandma watching him dive under my skirt searching for goodies.

๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks girls (:

No toss. I’m definately wearing one because I think they’re pretty and my fiance will like it later. I’m super into traditions but this is one I could do without… I wanna keep the wedding classy and PG ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m undecided as of now, but I think we’ll end up doing the garter toss!

We did both the bouquet and garter toss, I don’t really know why, I guess it just seemed like it was something we were supposed to do. It was fun though and we had a great laugh and it wasn’t like my hubby had my undies on display for the world.

I think like many of the others here, I don’t want everyone to watch while my boy has his hands up under my skirt!! I don’t mind the tradition, and I’ll probably wear one just for myself (and him!), but the whole world is not going to know about it!

I’m on the fence about the garter– we don’t have that many single friends.  And yea, I don’t like the idea of having his hands up my skirt in public.  ๐Ÿ˜‰
