    I get more “sexy” than “cute” but Fiance calls me all kinds of things 😉 lol

    @memo:  +1.

    I don’t know. My friends can call me sexy, it’s said in a manner that’s just joking around. My Fi tell me I’m beautiful and sexy everyday, but it’s okay, he sees me walking around half naked too.

    In other situations (university, work, other social events) I don’t get called that, thankfully, because it would be highly inappropriate and I would like ”elegant” and ”classy” to be the compliments that first come to mind. Then they can think ”sexy” because I believe in ”elegant sexy” (high heels, suits and tights are feminine and make women look powerful and confident = sexy).

    ETA: I guess if I really look back, the few times someone has used those words, it’s been hot.

    I’m definitely not a cute little thing at 6’1″! I get hot or sexy way more often than cute.

    Neither. I’m tall, so I generally get references with a bit more weight to them like stunning, or statuesque, or stylish (if they’re going for a full on compliment) otherwise, I just get “nice”.

    i always get called cute. I hate it. But, I’m pretty petiete and also look very young for my age. People always think i’m several years younger than I am. I just want people to think im beautiful! 🙁 ha.

    In university I used to get cute all the time and my roommate back then used to get sexy all the time. I remember it bothering me that I was always the cute one.

    Nowadays, I would say I usually get pretty or beautiful rather than cute. I only get sexy from DH, which I am perfectly okay with 🙂

    I get “Cute” all the time. Or adorable which is basically synonymous.

    If a guy calls me “Gorgeous” or “beautiful” I know he is just trying to get in my pants. I’m basically the epitome of simply “Cute” and I have accepted that.

    When I was single and dating around in my 20s in LA, I was more prone to be called hot/sexy. I was fit, tan, etc.. Now that I’m married, quit tanning, and 30 (hence harder to stay fit), I’m more prone to being called cute. Honestly, I don’t mind it as much as I used to. As long as DH finds me attractive, that’s what matters.

    @aqualuv:  I love being called sexy – I figure eventually I won’t be as sexy so I will take it. Anyone can call me sexy and I will say “Thank you”. I love the compliment.

    People call me “cute” because I’m 22 and look much younger than my age because I’m so small. Someone here said they’re “pocket-sized”, and that’s what people call me as well! SO calls me sexy though, which I much prefer since I’m a woman, not a toddler.

    @aqualuv:  Never been called cute, other than by my OH who calls me it when he’s being patronising :-s

    Been called sexy quite a few times, though I have absolutely no idea why.
