@Mrs. Cooper:  My female cousin was our reader and we did a corsage for her.  One that she pinned on her dress, not a wrist one.

traditionally, they do. you can give fsil either a pin-on corsage or a wrist corsage.

You dont have to get them flowers, but if you do you can get the girl a small bouqet or corsage

If it were me I find corsages annyoing to wear and a small bouqet seems pointless beacuse she is not going to hold it the whole night to ID her as a reader… I might scrap the whole idea and get them a small token thank you gift.

I don’t particularly like corsages so I say scrap the idea of flowers and maybe get them a gift like the Bridesmaid or Best Man and Groomsmen.

My reader (aunt) definitely DID want a corsage, so you might just be sure to ask.

Our readers were both female, and relatively young. They definitely wouldn’t have wanted to wear a corsage, but we did buy them both gifts that were presented to them at the rehearsal dinner.

I’m going to have flowers for my readers as well as gifts for them. To me, they’re a part of the wedding party so I’m treating them this way.
