Sounds like she wasn’t using the right wax. The closer you get to the middle you should use the “hard wax” stuff.
I had an unprofessional person once who was a stand-in for a regular keep trying to wax the same spot over and over, and she left temporary scars. I told her to stop. I went home and iced myself. I had blotches there for about a year. They’re gone now, and I had laser hair removal of the whole kitten caboodle, so no more worrying about that for me.

But yes, not wearing gloves should get her fired. I’d call up her manager or the shop owner. That’s so unhygeinic for both you and her.
She should know what she’s doing, and should be able to provide the service that you requested. Any professional who does brazilians should be so nonchalant about the whole thing. Like they’re folding clothes, it’s so routine and not a big deal.

Never go back to her.
I get sugared, which is even more up in your business than waxing, and I’ve never had someone talk to me like that.

I don’t get Brazilian waxes but I do get bikini waxes regularly. I go to a place that specializes in waxing and none of the women are squeamish. Try to find a dedicated waxing salon or a place that has a high enough volume – they won’t be shy about waxing you.
