Used to when I was new to dating anyone. Even more so when I was in my teens and hormones were all crazy.

Now… not really. I associate butterflies with a crush more than anything.

No, not really. In the beginning I did. But now it’s more routine and also I’m on hormonal birth control now and it takes a lot more to get me going.

In the beginning I had these really intense surface feelings like I would die if I couldn’t see him right this minute and I felt like I loved him more than anybody had ever loved anyone. But now it’s a very deep feeling. Like he’s part of me now. There are still butterflies every once in a while but mostly it’s just an easy feeling, being sure of him.

Just asked Fiance.  He said “no, you’re usually just dribbly”

I said yes because I’m calling my ‘sparks’ a little stomach flip I get. Mind you I used to get it a lot more, I’d get it when he leaned in to kiss me or held my hand. Now I still occaisionally get it but it’s usually after he’s said something really sweet rather than physical which is interesting! It’s been over 7 yrs together for us.

When we first started dating, I nearly blacked out in exhaltation from the sparks.  Now it’s more like slow burning butterflies, and deeper.  I doubt the butterflies will ever go away.

Yes! 4 years now and I still get tingly all over. It happened in the beginning with every kiss but now it’s the unexpected forehead kisses that get me.

Yes I have. Especially in winter because our humidty gets so low… 😉

(Getting shocked while kissing is not pleasant tho!)

For real, yes I’ve had many intense “Sparks fly” kisses with my Fiance. Our first kiss (especially since it was my first ever kiss), and during certain times of passionate kissing it’s just awesome. Don’t know how else to describe it

I don’t know, they’re not like sparks. More like a feeling of being home. Or basking in the sunshine. Definitely a special feeling, just… not sparky?

I still have sparks flying, butterflies in my stomach, complete sexual attraction for 90% of our kisses!

Our first kiss both of us felt our lips tingle in anticipation. Weirdly intensely too. He was the one ro bring it up, and we said it was like a chemical reaction, and made the attraction so heady, neither of us had felt it before.

More than 10 years later, I’m usually swatting him off because his stubble hurts.
