So I might be using those convertible dresses from Henkaa since they are affordable and look good, but the color I want is a little too dark….should I just go for it??? The reception is supposed to be light pink but the dress they have is a darker pink. It just makes it so much easier because some of my bridesmaids are a little bigger and the owner told me that they might come out with a plus size version (crossing fingers that it will be before my wedding!!). What do you think???

hmm i don’t know if that image works or not…weird.

@lisamarie36: I think having it be a shade of your wedding color is fine. The thing I worry about is what is your back up plan if the plus size does NOT come out before your wedding?

I dont think they have to match exactly but I think they need to “go” – I cant really explain what I mean by that I just know it from TLCs “What not to wear”

I think that that is fine. In translation, it’s still “pink”. And having them in this darker shade will make it pop! You also can do black as well, for a neutral color, if you want to stick with these dresses.

My wedding has a blue color scheme and I’m using three different shades of blue throughout the wedding. I think it just adds more dimension and everything isn’t so matchy matchy.

They don’t HAVE to match but they should. I am having my girls pick out their own dresses but since teal is an impossible color to match accross different dresses from different places then I am thinking about just letting them buy black dresses and giving them sashes, shoes, and other accessories to really bring in my color.
