My fiancee really likes the cutaway style of tux; however, he knows it won’t be so flattering on the Dads and on his best man (we are not having anyone else in the party). DO you think it would be odd for him to get a cutaway tux and then have the two dads and best man wear standar jackets? Or should they really all match?

I think as long as it’s all a similar level of formality, the exact cut shouldn’t matter. I think it’s great that you’re going with what works best with each person’s body type! I think the cutaway tuxedo is an interesting choice, though – it looks more like what people wear for a formal daytime wedding (morning dress)?

No not at all my Fiance is doing a different style from the GM’s.

I think it’s fine for him to wear a different style. If you’re concerned about tying it all together, maybe have them wear matching vests & ties.

It’s fine. THis is just like some guys look better in a 3 button suit and some look better in 2 buttons.
