- Wedding: April 2017
I recently married the love love of my life this past April! We had a beautiful wedding at my dream venue, the weather was perfect and I felt like a princess, truly! My only complaint is that the ceremony took place so that the sun was directly behind me creating a lot of contrast! It was pretty hot which was uncomfortable and I had originally intended for the cermony to be in complete shade as it was in the evening. I was about 30 minutes off though as the sun didn’t completely fall behind the horizon until right after the cermony. Now looking at the ceremony shots I can’t help but feel that they don’t look as good as I would like due to the high contrast from the sunlight. What is the group consensus here? Do you like the sunlight and how it hits us during the ceremony or does is look kinda bad?
everytime I look up wedding photos in forest settings it is always in neutral lighting so it has me concerned that I just made a bad choice on the time of day for our ceremony.
Over all though the rest of the wedding was fabulous! The reception was a dream, we had fantastic photos everywhere else! I just wish that the ceremony, being the most important part in the wedding, could have had better lighting.
