(Closed) Do these chairs need a cover or sash? Can I do one without the other!

@futuredriven:  I have the same chairs at my venue and chose to put a champagne bow on each chair, but they look beautiful as is! I think the bow just adds a beautiful touch, and my bows were only $1 each.

I agree with PP-they don’t need anything else- save your money for something else. Chair sashes can be a little annoying for guests anyway.

You might want to consider just putting them on your and FI’s chairs if you’re sitting with your bridal party.

I agree with most the previous bees. Leave them! They’re beautiful as is, and on the plus side, you’re saving money on chair covers!:)

Those are very nice chairs!!  If your wedding is more rustic or casual they might be too fancy, but they beat the crap out of our standard chairs and we didn’t cover ours!

Those chairs are great… and I DO notice chairs at weddings! Especially with your color scheme, people may think you rented them anyway!

I think the chairs you have look great already and I would leave them as is.  I understand your desire to dress them up but they are not ugly chairs to begin with. 

Also the only pics you have with just sashes are the Chavari chairs, which of course look great with sashes on, however, I don’t think the particular chair your venue has lends themselves well to sashes.  I honestly think those chairs would look better naked.

I personally hate chair covers. I think they are very tacky and look too “wedding”. If you have the budget and you prefer the rental chairs, go for it. If you would prefer not to spend the money, the chairs are actually pretty nice as is. The chairs at my venue were absolutely hideous so I opted for a rental upgrade and have no regrets – it looked so classy! But if my venue had those chairs that you are considering, I may have gone with them.
