My FH and I decided on red and white for our colors (mainly because he disagreed with every other one of my color choices lol). I’m happy that we compromised though and am glad that red and white are easy (although overdone). I also think it would look neat to add some b/w damask into the mix in the form of table runners. Then i started wondering…is it a bad idea to have red and white decorations when my dress is an ivory color and my bouquet will be all off-white flowers? Do you think that it will look odd?
my vision was to have white table clothes with b/w damask runners and a clear vase with red roses as centerpieces.

I think it will work just fine! I’m having a couple different shades of blue, because honestly, you just can’t match everything! That would be ridiculously difficult. I think it’ll be fine!

Your ivory dress will look wonderful with those colors – you don’t want to look like the tablecloths!

Red and white is a great combination. I think the damask would give it that extra little pop!
