I’m not convinced to be honest. I love both the table and the chairs, just not sure about them together.

Actually, now that you’ve posted your inspiration pic, it could work.  BUT I don’t know, because the legs of the table are painted and then distressed. I would definitely be more inspired if the legs were unpainted. Does that makes sense? More shabby, less chic on the table front 🙂

I’m not entirely convinced, but I do have those chairs in our kitchen.

I can see what you’re aiming at with the inspiration pic, but those black chairs are just a bit tall to pull off that look.

I don’t think the chairs (tall ones) go with the table. But the other ones (short ones) are okay.

@UK Bride:  Yeah, I prefer that one with the table in your OP.

Second chair is much better!

Personally, I’m not a big fan of it.  But I’m also a big matchy-matchy type person, and it’s simply not my style.

Yes, I think the second chair is better. Hope it’s not more expensive than the first ones?

Second chair is much better! The crossed bars in the back have more of a farmhouse feel that makes it more shabby chic.

I don’t like them. But then again, I’m pretty traditional in the sense that the wood color of the chairs should pretty much match the table..
