i think that they could both go together, it really just depends on what you are going for. The gray outer cards do not seem as fall-ish as your invites. Maybe you could re-sell them if nothing else so that you would make a little bit of your money back!

I like the first picture. It has the potential of being autumn-y are you planning on leaving it like that or maybe adding an orange ribbon? In my personal opinion I wouldn’t connect them to the same wedding.

I think it works! They aren’t too matchy matchy (which I think a lot of people on this site like), but they work. I don’t think anything too matchy matchy anyways.

It’s hard to tell without seeing the invitation in person with the envelope…but I think they could work.  Especially since I’d guess the invites might be slightly darker in person

I think they could work, but they need something to tie them together.  Haave the ivites been printed already, or are they just in the proof stage?  If they haven’t been printed, can you change the ink  to grey, then add an orange ribbon to the outside of the envelope?

As they stand now, I loke them both individually, but they don’t feel coordinated enough to be used together.

I think they could definitely work together if you tied in some orange/yellow to match the actual invite.  Using ribbon, a belly band, or something to bring in those other colors will help them to match just fine.

I personally wouldn’t put the grey with that particular orange invite. I love them both separately, but together it’s too much

I wouldn’t use them together, personally.  The grey folding card has hydrangeas on it, which are a spring-summer flower, where as your invites are clearly fall themed.

@vintagefair:  I think the idea of selling something someone else gave to you isn’t right. The orginal bride could’ve sold them if she wanted too, but she chose to pay her good luck forward. And if OP doesn’t want them, she should give them back to the original bride to sell if she wants.
