I don’t think fabric matters all that much. Your dress is formal and so are theirs so I think it’s a great match.

PS-not sure if I told you before but you look great in your dress!

Oh and the only thing I have heard from some people about convertable dresses is that the dress tends to cling if one is not twiggy or is well endowed they are not at all supportive. I think the concept is great but I’ve never seen them IRL

I think that the dresses are gorgeous!!  Do they bunch up on the floor like that though in person or would you have them hemmed to fit?  I fell over my dress at a friend’s wedding because it was long like that and I hooked my heel in the bottom.  I just don’t want anyone to wipe out on the way down the aisle for you.  🙂
