Wow.. there’s a different perspective.  It never occurred to me that this could be seen as “cocky” at all.  I’d definitely enjoy a photo of you camping or in some other interesting location more than a regular table number.  Are your friends into weddings at all?  If not, it may just seem weird because they haven’t seen it done before.

Your friends are mistaken. It is a great way to personalize your wedding!

my sister and her husband did that for their wedding. It didn’t come off cocky, but this could depend on your circle of friends.

I think it’s a fun and sweet idea! I don’t think it’s conceited in any way….in fact it’s a nice way to personalize table numbers. I think adding a picture would be so cute! We are considering using names of cities from Spain due to our theme.

    I don’t think you should have a problem πŸ™‚

I think it’s a really cute idea and have seen other bees do similar things. It sounds like a great conversation starter. You could even add a little paper to the tables asking guests to discuss different vacation related things. ie: what’s the most exotic place you have been to? But relate it to your photos.

I actually don’t even get how it could be considered cocky.  Go for it!

Hmm, I never thought of it as cocky. The only time I think it could even slightly be considered cocky is if you traveled the world together and your table numbers said things like Paris, Tokyo, London, Sydney, etc. But I would still think that was cool.

I say that if you have been to enough places to cover each table, go for it! I think its adorable, intersting, and something fun to look at that isn’t just a number.

I love the idea, especially with the little explanation on location and the adventure!
