Their goal will not be to kill you or cause you significant harm/injury. If antibiotics are not a valid option, this will be part of the plan. I’m sure you’re not the only one out there who has had this issue. It might make you a higher risk patient though so I’d be sure to try for the best OB you can get your hands on.

keikochan : …in Sweden it is given after a set number of hours if your water brakes before you go into labour. I had antobiotics inravenously for that reason, but then my son was born too quickly after the IVs started for them to reach his blood supply, so we had to stay two days at the hospital for observation even though we were fine 😛 I’m sure they can give the antobiotics directly to your baby if you can’t take any!
