Yay!

For what it’s worth, I think your ring is *lovely.* I have a bit of a tapered solitaire as well and I actually don’t mind the tiny gap between it and the band.

@linnylou_88:  I love your story and your ring 🙂 Your diamond is 1/3 of a carat? It looks so big and sparkly, if I didn’t know better I would have thought it was at least a half carat!

Awe, I’m so glad you love your ring again!

for the first little while I didn’t like the milgrain in my legacy ring, but since I got my matching wedding band, I love it!

Six weeks to resize?  Wow, that’s a long time!  Your ring is so beautiful and looks so pretty on your hand. 🙂

@MsMeow:  +1, I thought it was significantly larger than 1/3!

Beautiful story and ring, congrats!

It’s beautiful! And I am pretty sure we have the EXACT same nail polish on. Why on earth did it take 6 weeks though?

@linnylou_88:  Your fingers are smaller than mine?!? I’ve never actually met anyone with smaller fingers than my own. Mine are a whopping size 3.25 🙂 Well, that explains why a 0.3 ct diamond looks like such a massive rock on you 🙂

Btw, I have that exact shade of nail polish too. It was a freebie from when I bought some socks from Calzedonia last spring 🙂

i have days where i wish we hadn’t used the stone we were given, and we’d saved up for what i originally wanted. mostly after i get stupid comments. but then i remember that by having the stone i have, i went with tradition, and i fall back in love with it.

@linnylou_88:  The only one I could find of them together that’s already uploaded is kind of huge, but at least you can see the gap better haha.

Normally even though it’s a bit tapered, the gap isn’t that noticeable because the center stone hides it a bit. (And my center is only 1/2 ct. If I hadn’t already known yours was 1/3rd I’d have guessed that they’re the same.)
