I never considered getting a cake topper. I am not sure we are cake topper people. I don’t like the traditional figurines and Fiance hates monograms. Here is our cake. For the reception we are going for a city chic feel. Thoughts?

I think it looks fine. That flower on the side is large enough to make an impact.
If you wanted a flower topper, I would put maybe 1 large flower and a couple of smaller ones on the top tier, but then nothing in the middle. It’s a very classy but simple design.

We’re not doing one. Flowers on the cake maybe, but no topper.

Nope! Your cake will make a big impact without it 🙂 We did a monogram in icing on the top of each cake, but that’s because ours were one “tier” each. Here’s a picture if you’re interested.

No Cake topper for me either. Honestly I think they are rather out of date.

I’m not a fan of the cake topper – if I end up getting one, it will probably just be flowers. I love your cake as-is, it’s very elegant!

I like it just how it is!
We were supposed to have flowers on top of our cake, but mistakenly missed the fact that the florist forgot to add it to our statement. So, here’s how it looked without:

Love your cake design, and especially the flower. Definitely very modern and having a cake topper would detract from the overall look.

Agreeing with all the other Bees who have posted saying it’s a beautiful and detailed cake, no need for a topper.
We’re baking our own 4-tier cake, and won’t be doing a topper: because we want people to admire our amazing cake-baking-and-icing skills.
