(Closed) Do we need to do rice/bubble/confetti throw?

No you wouldn’t look like fools for leaving that part out, though I have not been to a wedding yet where they didn’t do something like that.


What if you just bought bottles of bubbles or whatever for your wedding party to do?

Yes, you’ll probably have some guests thinking “Wait, aren’t we supposed to throw something now?” It won’t be a big deal or look strange. Don’t stress about it.

Actually we didn’t do it at several of the weddings I went to and I totally didn’t notice. In fact the last 3 I went to- absolutely nothing to throw or blow.

If you want to do something, you can get a 9 pack of bubbles for $1 at dollar tree. You should be able to even get them from the dollar tree online. We tied a red ribbon around the neck of each bottle and set them on the tables. It worked well.
