There is something really, really nice about having a great hotel room that night. You don’t have to deal with your messes at home, everything is beautiful, and clean, and you are separated from any stressors at home. It’s just you and your husband. You’ll be surprised how busy and crazy things get the week before the wedding – you’ll be grateful for the peace and space away from all of that for the night!

We live 10 minutes away from our venue as well but we did stay in the hotel the night of.

I wanted that night to feel different and special than any other night and I feel like coming home I would want to clean up from the wedding day etc.

The hotel allowed us to keep the romance from the day going!

Stay at the hotel!  You can probably get the room for free if you have a lot of wedding guests staying there.  Plus, it will let you totally relax for the night, even if all you do is sleep 😉  In my opinion, if I went home, I would probably end up checking email or cleaning up stuff or whatever.  Just relax and enjoy and throw the towels on the floor if you want!

We have a lot of guests staying at the hotel that we are staying at.  While we could just go home, we really don’t want to!  We want to enjoy the hotel and party with the guests there afterwards.

We stayed in a nice hotel and it was lovely just to go back to the hotel after the wedding and not have to worry about anything!

We live down the street from the hotel our wedding was at, but we still splurged and stayed in the hotel the night before and night of the wedding. It was a lot of money that we did not need to spend, but it was nice and I am glad we did it.

Also, something else to think about, we ended up getting our honeymoon suite for free because so many of our Out of Town guests stayed there.

i am really looking forward to coming home to our place. i don’t sleep well in hotels but if you like the idea of it being extra-special then the hotel might be better.
