I’ve noticed recently a LOT of posts involving indecision about wedding attire. It seems like most of the blogging bees have problems committing to a dress/shoes/accessories and end up buying 2,3,4 of each of these things because they never can make up their minds on what they want. But I’ve never seen this happen in real life. Typically, the bride decides what she wants, buys it, and then just crosses that thing off her list and doesn’t focus on it anymore.
I’m wondering if it’s something that’s brought on in part by being a wedding blogger and feeling this “pressure” for lack of a better word to have your wedding be “blog worthy.” The additional spotlight that’s put on blogging bees to have a special/creative/unique/awesome wedding is probably partly to blame; if I felt like my wedding had to measure up to me being selected to write about it for a mass audience, it would probably be pretty easy to second guess a lot of my decisions as not “good enough” for the blog.
What do you think? Is this type of indecision something that you see happen a lot around weddings in your real life, or do you think it’s a wedding-blogland related thing?
