(Closed) Do yellow gold settings make diamonds look yellow?

Ive actually been told if your diamond has a lower color grade that yellow gold will mask it and make it appear whiter.

Yes. But if the diamond is of a lower color grade, the contrast canmake it look whiter than if it were in white gold . Howeve the stone will reflect more yellow in the yellow gold head.

I think yellow gold highlights the whiteness of the diamond, but that may just be me.

Looks pretty white/ colorless to me 🙂

& I assumed the white prongs were so they’d blend in?
