lol I agree that I really hate when my DH calls me “Danielle”; he only does it when he’s mad at me lol. So that being said, I usually hear “babe”, “honey bunny” or “pookey face” hahaha

Oh and DH calls me Naca (Spanish for dork…sort of) or llegua colorada sometimes (colored horse…because I have red hair).

We have lots of stupid nicknames for each other. It all started when he developed an obsession with blueberry muffins, and said, “You’re my blueberry muffin.” Then he shortened that to muffin. From that spawned puffin, puffy, puff, fluffy, fluff, fluffin, fluffernut, puffernut, pufferfluff, flufferpuff, mcmuffin, and so on…

There’s also “fatty,” which spawned fatty mcfatfat, fat face, fatster, fatty cakes and fat ugly penguin. And “tuba” which spawned tubby and most recently, stubbs mctubbs. I call him “baby” sometimes, which turned into bubby, and bubster.

Since we got married, he calls me “woofer” as a substitute for wife, and I call him “hubster” for husband. Also, hubby, and hubber.

There are nicknames. My favourite is when one of us is being cranky the other will growl (imitating the other). Usually snaps us out of our crankiness.

Haha I love the names- I think it’s really endearing and makes our relationship more special! He calls me woman or wifey- I guess those aren’t strange. There’s another one from a Stephen Lynch song that I can’t post in public :P. I call him Lovey.

We mostly just say weird things to each other. Like I’ll call him from another room and I’ll say “BABE?” And he’ll yell back “POOP!”

    We’re sooo mature.

My Fiance calls me “froo” sometimes.  When we first started dating I referred to a starbucks drink as “froo froos” which then got shortened to “froos.”  Then he said I was his froos. I guess I could be upset that he’s calling me a latte, but I really like lattes, so I won’t. ๐Ÿ˜€

I just call him the boring “hunny.” I very seldom call him by his name.  And we are frequent users of “baby.”

We call each other “Rude” or some variation, like Rudest, Ruderat, Ruder McRudington, etc, etc. Our friends think it’s strange, but it works for us. We’re just not the sweetie/honey/sugar pie type.

Haha, we do this all the time! Kind of embarrassing to admit, but we call each other poopy usually. I’ll also call him booby, honey bunny, poopy butt and other very mature names. A more normal name we call each other is baby.

We have soooooooooooooooo many nicknames. I really, really like nicknames and can’t help but call him random things. We started by calling each other babe, normal, but then one day is morphed into schbab and we call each other that the majority of the time. I also call him kitty, kitten, cat, dovey, lovey, skittle, cake. He calls me bird, puddim (??), pie. We mostly stick to schbab =)

yep! it started when we first started dating from a joke about how it’d be nice to have a “kitchen monkey” to help do chores, and somehow we started calling each other monkey, and variants like monkster, monkeypants, monkaroo, which turned into roo or roosty-roo or rooster…which are also things we call our dog (aka my screenname–our dog’s name is finny).

This is so funny! For a while I kind of felt like, uh… this is weird that we literally never call each other by our actual names. Like to the point that I sometimes feel awkward calling him his name in public. lol! I feel more validated now in our weirdness. ๐Ÿ˜€

You know how in rap/hip hop music it was cool for a while to refer to a significant other as a “boo?” Well, they still do that in Hawaiian music, lol, so naturally, “boo” became the nickname for each of us. That somehow morphed into “boo bear” and I pretty much always call him some form of “bear” or “boo” if not the standard “babe.” I get “boo berry” a lot. ๐Ÿ™‚
