We eat together around 8:00 each night unless one of us is out to dinner with friends or feeling sick or something like that.  We eat the same thing, but he’ll occasionally add meat products to his meal.

we cook together and eat together (the same thing, I’m not his mama) unless he has a night class to teach – then I cook whatever I want for dinner, and he has leftovers. We text throughout the day to decide what to have for dinner, so its always something we’re both happy with.

We always eat in front of the tv, which was always a no-no in my house growing up, so it still feels like we are getting away with something!

Only if she’s not working. She works 2nd shift (2:30pm to 10:30pm) and her dinner is provided by her work place. It has its pros and cons!

We eat together every night unless one of us is out and having dinner elsewhere.  Otherwise, the person at home will just grab a snack and wait for the other person.  We connect through food a lot.  It is kind of a hobby of ours.  We’re both big foodies, that love to cook, love to eat, and love to discuss both!  We also connect at dinner time, although sometimes we just like to veg out and catch up on a show.  Most nights we eat at the table though, and if one person has put extra effort in to dinner, we’ll light candles, bust out the cloth napkins and turn on some romantic music. We truly enjoy preparing delicious food for each other, so its a special thing we do.

Last night I made filet mignon with a green peppercorn sauce, sauteed garlic mushrooms and my super special roasted potatoes.  I hadn’t intended for it to be a “date night” but my fiance was so stoked on the meal that it turned in to one.  🙂  And I love it when that happens!

My hubby’s stomach isn’t great, so a lot of times he’ll just eat rice or cereal or something if he’s not feeling well. My appetite is bigger than that, so I’ll fix myself something.

On normal nights we do eat together though. I cook, we set the table, and I love having our eating time together.
