I wish we had more! We have a ton from when we first started dating, but we don’t really seem to take as many pictures anymore. I think the most recent picture that we have together are from his graduation in May 2013. We went on a trip to Europe last year, and we took ONE picture together the entire time! I was so mad, but he just hates having his picture taken, and also hates asking strangers to take them because we really suck at selfies LOL.

I totally agree with you about people taking pictures just for other people. I always laugh when someone has 3,000 pictures on their FB, and most of them are just random selfies that they never even used as profile pictures. Most of the time they only take pictures when they are doing something awesome, or they take them when they get all dressed up. It’s like we know you don’t look like that and do amazing things every single day of your life!

For a while we only had a few photos of us, and every single one was terrible! Then his grandmother asked us to send her a photo of us and we took the time to take 3-4 and we finally got one we liked! Normally its a one-shot deal with someone’s awful camera phone in bad lighting when we aren’t ready. We’re the opposite of photogenic. Anyway, we were so excited to have a good photo we printed out about seven copies and gave them to our families, who were excited to finally have a nice photo of us too. I have found that the less photos you take and share, the more others respond positively to the ones you do take and share.

@winstonchurchill: are we talking pictures or GOOD pictures. We have lots of silly slefies, but very very few actual pictures that anyone (besides us) would consider framworthy.

@winstonchurchill: We have a handful, but not tons. We really only take pictures at “important” events. My husband is not a fan of having his picture taken and we most certainly are NOT selfie people! We have a grand total of 1 picture of us together on our honeymoon haha. We both hate asking other people to take our picture.
We did just get a new DSLR for baby though, so I’m sure we will get much more use out of it and take more pictures of all of us with baby!

We don’t have a ton, but we have quite a bit.

I’m glad that so many people say there aren’t many pictures of them together. My husband’s never been big on taking pictures, and since he doesn’t want his picture online (sites like Facebook), I don’t post them anyway. So, the incentive isn’t as strong.
We have a few of us from the wedding itself, but they were all candid shots. Nothing posed.

@MrsPanda99: “I wish we had more. We have lots from the beginning of our relationship when I was skinny but I hate having my picture taken now. Hopefully I lose enough before it’s pro picture time.”

@winstonchurchill: We have TONS of pics of us. Unfortunately we need tons because neither of us is very photogenic. We get 1 decent pic out of every 20 we take. So far I’v only decided that 3 were good enough to have printed up. I keep ther other pics in an album on my computer, but I don’t usually show them to anybody.

We have been together almost 9 years and I would think the number of photos of us together (including when other people are in the photo) are certainly in the 100s probably near the 1000s! It’s not even that we take photos all the time, but we do take lots if we are on holiday (vacation) on day trips, at Christmas, at graduations, at birthdays, at family meals out Etc. For our engagement party I printed about 50 photos of us together to put around the room and those were mostly from the last couple of years and I has a lot more I wanted to use but I was told that people might not want to just see photos of us everywhere lol. We are not married yet and I don’t want to spend much on a wedding when we do get married but good photographs are one of my priorities as it’s the only thing (besides the marriage hopefully!) that lasts beyond that day. I totally understand that other people feel differently about photos though- for me I have a bad memory for thinhs so photos really help me to remember the lovely things that have happened.

When we lived with my parents we had lots of photos, becuase someone else was able to take the pictures but now that we are on our own we have very few. We dont even have any pictures of us together on our honeymoon.
We have been together for 9 years, I do try and make sure we get at least one picture together every year. Next year for our 10 year anniversary, I am going to get professional photos done of us.
*side note, I my best friend and I have been friends since elementary school (so over 20 years), we have 0 pictures of us together haha, seriously 0.

We have A LOT!! Not so much from our younger years together- we were 14 so having pictures wasn’t very important to us then haha. But when we were about 16-17 is when I was thinking of becoming a photographer, my parents bought me all the equipment, so I felt like I should use it so we have lots of pictures together. I took a few classes on it, then decided to just keep it as a hobby, but it’s still really important to me to have photographs to document our life.
At first FH wasn’t too thrilled about always getting his photo done (because when we take photos together, it’s full out driving around to beautiful locations, getting the lighting, angle, EVERYTHING perfect haha) But he ended up getting into film and is now a filmmaker, so now when we take photos he is the one obsessing over getting the perfect lighting, etc 😛
I am happy we have so many photographs together, they aren’t just selfies, they are stories about our life that moment and after the moment of your life has past all you are left with is memories and pictures, and even memories can fade away.

We try to take one every time we go out skiing, hiking, biking, anything outside. However, we’re almost always wearing sunglasses.

We have quite a few, but unfortunately most are all of us from hiking. They are nice since we have great views behind us, waterfalls, etc. We go almost every weekend in the spring and summer, so those pictures have added up. Occasional dress up and other pictures here and there.

We have a ridiculous amount of pictures. I have a ton on my desk at work, we have…*counts*…17 pictures just in the living room. We take pictures ALL THE TIME. A wedding? Pictures. Vacation? Pictures. Family get together? Pictures.
I love it because I can see how much we have changed and grown in the eight years that we have been together.
