The theory is that spirits don’t necessarily attach themselves to the physical structure that currently occupies the land.  Which makes sense if you accept the theory that ghosts are spirits who are stuck between this world & the other side.

I’m an open minded skeptic.  The science of physics is discovering some amazing things about what is real.

One of the stranger phenomenon I’ve experienced was an icy cold spot in the yard of a house I used to own in a very hot climate.  No matter how high the temperature, one spot in the yard was always very cold.  It wasn’t a shady spot, and shade would not have reduced the temperature that much.  Too small to be a microclimate.

It didn’t bother me.  Just an oddity without an explanation.

I do believe. I lived with my FI’s parents for a couple of years and SWEAR there was some kind of presence there. Even when I knew I was alone, i felt like I wasn’t. There was always the feeling of someone else being around, strange knocks and bangs, etc. On more than one occasion I locked myself in the use I was SO sure someone was outside the door. It was a few years before I told my Fiance this and h told me he felt the same growing up there. Weird noises a bangs that couldn’t be explained, and feeling like someone was there. He also said he woke up one night and there was a shadow in the corner of his bedroom that looked like a little girl huddled up.

My mum had three ‘aunties’ that live overseas. I believe they were old family friends. Anyway, 2 had died and one night in her dream she could hear the 2 aunties chatting away, then they welcomed the third Aunty. Saying things like “Oh you’re here” “I wondered when you were coming” and things like that. In the morning my Grandfather phoned to say the third Aunty had died during the night.

My poppa died 3 years ago. My dad is VERY much a non believer in anything. The night his father died he was woken by a loud crash in the kitchen downstairs, which nobody else heard. It was such a loud crash he thought one of the cats must have knocked something off the bench. He went downstairs to look, and there was nothing. No cats, no mess. Nothing was out of place, the entire rest of the house was asleep. In the morning he got a call that his dad had died in his sleep about the same time as the crashing sound woke him up!

And my last story – my old boss didnt live in her home town, and one day got out of bed and knew she had to go home. She felt like she had to go right now, couldn’t wait for anyone. She owned her company and was going to cancel the course that day if nobody covered her because she just felt so strongly that she HAD to go home. On the way down (5ish hour drive) she stopped and got her dad’s favourite foods. When she arrived home he was happy to see her, they cooked the food and ate. After, he got up to go to the bathroom and collapsed. He died in her arms.

gettin_marrid:  I was going to suggest that it was a throw rug that has partially fallen off of that chair but I think you’re right in saying jacket – makes a lot of sense that the photog left his jacket on the chair, thus didn’t pay any attention to the odd shapes in the pictures.

Seek the assistance of a medium. I know, it sounds ridiculous, but really.

My husband has a sixth sense and before I met him I didn’t believe in ghosts, etc.  After 7 years with him, I’m a big believer now.

You need professional assistance with this.

dalia88:  I’m not 100% sure but that almost looks like a piece of furniture or something of that sort. I know the bottom looks like shoes…but honestly it sort of looks like furniture?
