I personally don’t believe in them. I find it crazy when people won’t open umbrellas, go up the stairs at the same time as someone else, etc. My sister is one of those people, so I have heard them all (and still roll my eyes). I purposely leave keys on the table and do other little things to annoy her ๐Ÿ˜€

However the ring finger one is cute and in good fun, not something to live life by, lol. No harm in a little fun.

I’ll wish on a falling star and when I throw a penny into a fountain, I’ll make a wish. Same for my birthday candles. But do I really believe my wish will come true? No. It’s just something you do.

However…I try not to open umbrellas indoors. Silly I know, but I just feel better once I close it lol.

But other than that, I don’t really believe in superstitions. It’s just something fun to do, for me anyway.

I don’t believe in superstitions… unless it comes to sports. Then I’m incredibly superstitutious!

@somethingaquamarine:  <—- Same about sports!  I think superstitions are kind of fun to play along with anyway :]

@beeeforeigocrazy:  This is actually really funny because I had the same problem recently! My right hand ring has started to make my finger itch (back when I wore it on my left middle finger) and even made a little red ring on my finger. I’ve heard it could be an allergy to the gold or other metal, but the kicker is I’ve been wearing this ring for 5 years and never had this problem.

Even weirder – it doesn’t do it to my right hand. Once my left middle finger “heals” I switch it back and it happens again…only to that finger…

No, except I could get on board with some of the sports ones!

Nope. I think humans like to follow superstitions to feel better about their place in a completely random universe. It’s comforting to think that things happen for a reason vs. just happening.

I am not really superstitious but I do follow some, by choice. I like to believe there is something behind them even just to make me feel more positive about my day or something.

I do not walk under ladders – but I wouldnt anyway considering its likely not a very safe thing to do. I have a fear someone or something will fall on me hahaha…

I dont believe 13 is an unlucky number I use it quite often. No longer term suffering for me yet.

A fourleaf clover brings goodluck? well I love goodluck charms and totums ๐Ÿ™‚

If I see a rainbow or two I will have a good day.

Wishbones? I suck at them but I always save them and dry them out just to break them for a laugh.

Twitches and itches, someone walking on your grave when you shiver. I do kind of feel maybe someone is talking about me, thinking about me or something.

My favourite though when my necklace turns around my neckline, someone is thinking about you. I definately think that when I am rearanging it hahaha

Whoa. I’m not really superstitious BUT I’ve had a cheap-ish sterling silver/CZ promise ring my Boyfriend or Best Friend gave me when we were 17 and I’ve been wearing it on my left ring finger for about 6 straight years now (doing EVERYTHING, wearing it to shower, clean, sleep – you name it – with no problems) and it only just started itching and irritating me last month and even started weirdly branding itself onto my finger. I’ve since moved it to wear on my necklace.

Then a couple of weeks ago, the Boyfriend or Best Friend and I finally had a serious talk about marriage/timeline and now we’ve chosen a ring and he’s been talking about how nervous he is planning his proposal tongue-out

So maybe there is some truth to this itchy ring finger stuff lol!
