I blush all. the. time.  I’m a teacher and when I first started teaching I would blush for the duration of my class.  Because I know I blush, I try to be confident through the blushing and keep going.  I stopped blushing as often, but it still happens on occasion.  I’m really pale too so I totallllly feel your pain!

@MrsRuby:  I do. I had a teacher who jokingly called me chameleon once. Because I could chang colors that quickly and completely. I have trouble processing things I’m not expecting to hear, and when I figure out that I said something stupid or answered the wrong quest I blush so bad.

UGH yes. I hate having hyper-reactive (half) Irish skin. Whenever I am flustered or embarrassed I get SUPER blotchy red on my cheeks and chest. I fear I’m doomed to be a beet on my wedding day. I guess makeup can help (not so much for the chest though, right?) but I can’t stand that awful hot feeling either. I read that beta blockers can help with this (like on a special occasion or when you have to do public speaking or something) but have no first hand experience to confirm it.
