I recently won a bridal makeover through Mary Kay and now they would like me to consider being a seller for them. How does everyone feel about their products and prices? Why or why wouldnt you buy from them? Are you currently selling for them and will you continue? Thanks everyone!

I went to a bridal show and won a free “Starting package” which is actually like $175 or something like that. The only thing I really like from them is the eye makeup remover and IMO its way too expensive.
So basically, I used up all the stuff I won and never started selling it. I kinda felt weird doing it for some reason.

I used to sell it in college. I stopped because I thought the prices were way too high for the quality they were (many products were more expensive and not as good as Sephora items). Also, I didn’t like how Mary Kay encourages their sellers to harass friends and family into buying and selling their products.

A coworker used to be a rep and I always felt pressured to have a party. I do still use the cream to powder foundation (LOVE IT), as well as the moisturizer. I buy on Ebay because I can get it less expensive and that particular coworker no longer sells it.
The nice thing about MK is that you can try any of their products, test the colors, etc. prior to buying. The bad thing is the pressure the reps put on you to buy something.
