Me too! Fossils as well. I teach Geology in a large National Park, I’m very passionate about rocks, haha!
Also, hippos. Many years ago I told my best friend my favorite Christmas song is “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” and every year since she has given me a hippo or something hippo related (a Hungry Hungry Hippos game 😀 ) for Christmas.

No! I cannot stand clutter. I love makeup and nail polish, but cannot bring myself to buy palettes for the sake of palettes. I have all the major colours of lipstick for example, and I see no point in accumulating 50+ slight variations of the same colour (same goes for nail polishes). I lean to the more minimalist lifestyle (at least in theory, and it definitely shapes how much stuff I accumulate).

Makeup. I have more than I will ever use, but continue to buy because it makes me happy. I especially like LE stuff/holiday collections. Right now my most coveted item is the Ladurée Les Merveilleuses Limited Edition Fall 2015 Shimmering Face Powder. DH bought me a Vanity Girl Hollywood mirror and helped me re-do a room in our house into my makeup room… it’s my girly sanctuary.

I used to collect so many things: basketball cards, baseball cards, comic books, coins, key chains, stamps, hat pins and teddy bears. I still have my cards, comic books, coins and pins but I don’t add to the collections anymore. If I see a stamp that I think looks interesting, I’ll add it to my album.
DH and I started collecting those pressed pennies on our honeymoon – I even got one of those penny passports to hold them in. We’ve got a handful of those machines around town, so we’ve managed to add to the collection eventhough we haven’t travelled anywhere since then.

I’m a HUGE coffee drinker so a few years ago, I started collecting those Starbucks ‘Where You Are’ mugs. I love how they’re all the same shape and style so they look nice sitting on the shelf together! I also try collecitng a unique mug from everywhere I go, as well. My kitchen cabinets are getting a little overrun at this point

I used to collect anime cels. I say “used to” because my collection is pretty much dormant at this point. I haven’t purchased a new cel or sketch in over a year. (sadness) I still have my collection. It’s curated on a couple of online galleries, and I also sometimes pull my books out to look at my cels and sketches in person. But most of the shows I truly love are older, so artwork from them is hard to come by. (And pretty expensive.)
Kind of going along with the anime cels, I also have an anime action figure collection. I haven’t added to it much in a long time, either, although I did get a really neat figure a few months ago. I have special shelves on the walls above my desk in my home office, and that’s where my action figures hang out.
I *think* I also collect nail polish. I do purge that collection now and again, and I currently only have around 150. But I love doing my nails. Getting new polish makes me so happy.

I collect thimbles as well! I’ve been collecting them for quite awhile, and this year even got a nice thimble display case for Christmas!

Nice to see someone else collect them as well! 🙂

Vinyl records, I guess? I’ve been collecting for 5 or 6 years now.
I used to “collect” band t-shirts. I had like 30 or 40 in college.
