Rsvps are coming in and I’ve had a good return so far (the rsvp date is still a month away), but I’ve been getting a lot of texts and facebook messages about who is and isn’t coming. I’m not sure whether I want to actually count these in my official final count (right now they are in their own column on the spreadsheet). I think I will still check in (in the same way they did to keep it casual and less hound-y) once the date gets closer just to make sure nothing has changed.
How do you classify these responses?

I’d say yes but check in later to make double sure 🙂

I would tell every single person who contacts you by alternate method that they need to send that card in because it makes managing the guest list significantly easier for you and havng the cards provides you a no fault way to double check the numbers.

I’d count them, but just double check with them before turning in my final count. Fiance and I will actually be having an e-rsvp on our wedding website where guests can rsvp if they so choose.

Everyone who sent a message or called to rsvp I asked to please, please send the card back. But I still didn’t get over a dozen back probably. So annoying lol.

I’m glad to know I’m not alone in this… Fiance thought I was just being ridiculous, lol.

I counted it tentatively but told the people to still send me the card because I wanted them all as a keepsake (false, I tossed them… But who’s going to deny a bride her keepsakes :p )
