I have a budget for what my parents are paying and a budget for what we are paying. My parents are “paying for the wedding.” Parents are paying for dress, so it’s part of the main wedding budget.  He bought my rings and I bought his ring, so they are separate.

I didn’t vote, as I wasn’t sure WHAT to vote.  My engagement ring is completely separate.  I haven’t a clue what it cost, and I do not want to EVER know.  (if he told me, I am sure I would be afraid to wear it.  LOL)

Wedding bands will be budgeted in with all the other Wedding Crap (my official name for all things bridal).  My dress…pretty sure it will be all on its own, as I am paying for it all by my lonesome.  We had talked about $500-$1k.  I fell in love with one that is $2k.  I want.  I will have.  hehe

I count the dress as part of the wedding budget, but not the runs – since they’re a “forever” item

I include my dress but not our rings. We don’t have rings picked out yet anyway.
