howtobeawife:  I have two physical pics of DH and me (one is when we met a celebrity and posed with her so it’s not a “couple” pic) in my cube. I also have one physical picture of my cat, lol. I then have a couple pics from our wedding ceremony as my computer desktop wallpaper. As for whether this is common at my office, yes – we are a very family-type place. Most people who work here are lifers as it offers good work-life balance and discounted tuition for dependents. Hence, I see a ton of family photos in people’s offices/cubes.

None – It’s uncommon at my workplace

I have 3 different offices, and none of them have any types of pictures. My main office does have a few knick knacks and things that have been given to me through the years. There are a few personalized things on my desk that I don’t use, but they were gifts from my boss so I keep them there. I also have a few voodoo dolls [not real ones, like the little string ones] which is an ongoing joke in our office – kind of how we deal with stress! Whenever SO gets me flowers, he delivers them to work, and they do stay on my desk until it’s time for the can.

On my other desks, there are some knick knacks, but no pictures. One has some drawings that children from my work made me, and I display them – everytime they come in they always go to make sure they are there!

Our fiances/husbands do visit us every few weeks, so I guess it’s not really a big deal for us to put up pictures – it’s not like anyone will ever question that we are engaged/married, because we all know each other pretty well.

I have 1 picture displayed in my work area – and its of me and my former collegues at a work christmas party.  I’d say in my company its about 60/40. 60% of people dont have pictures of family up on their work spaces – 40% do.  But I also work in a male dominated company.

I dont have any pictures of my DH & I displayed. Mainly because I am a private person and I dont want random people who walk by my desk to see my personal pictures.  I have pictures of my DH on my phone that I will show to work friends.

I work at a small company and everyone has at least a couple of personal pics on their desk.  I have 2 pics of my FI and I, and a few other pics of my parents and dog.  I think it’s fun and it adds some personality to the office.  Since we’re so small and close with each other, privacy is not really a concern.  If I worked at a bigger office, I may be more hesitant to put photos on my desk.

I don’t have any.  I work in the field, so my time at my office desk is minimal; in my company we are also advised to be frugal in terms of displaying personal items and decorations, including pictues.  My husband and I work for the same company, so everyone knows we’re married.

I have 2 pictures from our wedding day hanging up by my desk. It’s very common at my work place and pretty much everyone else does it too. I know my hubby has 4 wedding pictures of us and a couple of just me at his desk lol. He texted me a picture of it one day and I thought it was so cute 🙂

I have 5 pictures of us (one as guests at a wedding, two from a vacation, and two from our wedding) and 3 pictures of our dogs, lol. Most people here have at least that many or more at their desk.

I have 3 pics of us– 1 is from our wedding, 1 is an e-pic and 1 is from when we went on a camping trip. I also have pictures of my parents, siblings, niece and dogs. I also have ticket stubs from favorite sporting events, a fun calendar and some other personal things up. Our workplace is very nontraditional/organic, they encourage a lot of personality in your work area.

My cube at work is all decorated. I have a chevron couch, a tv, a table, a cute rug…etc. I have several pictures hanging above my computer screens…several of my brothers and sisters, a few of my horse, and 2 pics of me and my DH. I also have a half sized “autographed” poster of my DH in my cube too (professional sport).

It’s pretty common where I work, its a very family oriented place.

Yeah I have one 4×6″ framed wedding photo on my desk, and also a small 3×3″ photo of my husband and kitties just printed on regular paper taped to my comptuer.

That’s pretty standard at my office… it’s a small company with ~18 employees with a very friendly/laid back ambiance.  My boss has about a million pictures of her grandkids in her office, lol.

howtobeawife:  I don’t have any right now. Still settling into my office, but wary of putting anything up, since I’ll probably be moved again once it’s set.

However, it’s common to have personal photos in my office.

Very common a my workplace. Right now I have an 8×10 that has 3 wedding pics of DH and I. After I get a shelf up I plan to include some of our son and dog as well.
