Yes! My setting is very similar to yours. I can’t do my hair when I have on my ring because my hair gets caught in it like crazy and I always bump it on things! I always make sure I put it on last right before I leave the house, and try my hardest to be aware of it whenever I’m doing something where it might get scratched or caught… but it still happens! Sadly I have no advice on how to avoid this… other than just try to be extra careful!

No, but I purposely set it low so that I wouldnt. I am rough with my hands.

No, I don’t catch my ring on anything or knock it on anything. I didn’t have the center stone set lower either. I’m not sure why I don’t hit it on anything, but it hasn’t been a problem. It might be because it’s a three stone ring. I don’t know…

I have a tiffany setting, and I have to be careful when I’m holding laundry baskets especially…my hand will get stuck!

I have a marquise cut stone, and the pointy ends do tend to hook loose woven fabrics and anything fluffy. I bang the hell out of my rings all the time by accident, but they’re none the worse for wear. Apparently our jeweller built them to take a lot of punishment!

No, when I dropped hints to my husband about rings, I mentioned not wanting anything that stuck up really high, so he got me a cathedral type setting.

I get mine caught in my hair all the time and it is annoying.  Not so annoying that I’d ever change the style of ring my hubby got me, but annoying enough that I sometimes contemplate shaving my head.  My stone was supposed to come cathedral set, but I requested Tiffany instead, so its kind of my own fault.  Tongue out

Yes. All the time. I don’t really get it caught on things, but I knock it against everything, including my poor Fiance. I picked a pretty low set ring for a reason- I’m a klutz!

I don’t so much bump into things, but I scratch myself and Fiance allllll the time! I’ve even had to change my favourite sleeping position cuz it’s not comfortable with my ring and I can’t stand to take it off at night!

I get little fibers stuck in the prongs all the time. I once gave myself a nice scratch on the back of my right arm with it (don’t even ask me how I did it…no clue!) I also have scratch Fiance a couple time. I’m so clumsy!

I don’t catch it on things but occasionally knock it.  It seems pretty sturdy though.  It sits fairly high but the cathedral setting helps I think.

My center sits up very high. I don’t bang it on much, but it sure does get caught in my hair if I forget it’s on and run my hands thru my hair..or even trying to do my hair in the morning. Forget it, the ring has to come off. I will also, on occasion see a fiber or 2 in the prongs.
