@Andthepupmakes3:  Right?

Why would you lie about finger size? That is so bizarre. No, I have never thought to myself… “girl you tripping, your finger is way bigger than that.”

Finger size is really weird. My BFF, who is about an inch taller and a good 15-20 lbs lighter than me, has a much larger finger size. I wear a 4.75, and she wears an 8.

Fiance and I were at a wedding last weekend, and I was chatting with a newly married bride. I was admiring her wedding band and said, “Wow, your fingers are so tiny!” and it turned out her ring size was exactly the same as mine. My fingers are very long, and I generally keep my nails short, so I think it makes my hands look bigger than they are.

YES! I have small hands and sz4 finger, nobody else I know IRL has hands small like mine lol but I see so many girls taking about having size 3.75-4.75 fingers on different message boards, so 1) if there’s such a high demand then why is it so hard to find any rings in that size?   2) where are all these super skinny women hiding? b/c I never see them in public

They can’t put anything on the Internet that isn’t true!

@linnylou_88:  Weird, it wouldn’t have even occured to me that your hands are in any way abnormal. But I’m pretty sure your fingers are twice longer than mine (I have complexes about my stubby fingers so that’s complement!).

Just goes to show that people have very different ideas of beauty. Who the hell cares about anyone’s fingers? 😛

@Treejewel19:  lmao!  the crap people fixate on/question/analyze is just beyond!

that kind of talk reminds me of the current Alec baldwin stalker case and how the stalker is reported to keep yelling out (in the damn courtroom on record, no less) “YOU LIAR; YOU SAID YOU’D MAKE ME OMELETS EVERY MORNING AND WE’D HAVE A BABY BALDWIN” lmdao

eta – everyone is beautiful in their own way.  many times, the internet/social networks/blogs/etc. do more harm and instill more self-doubt than is rational.  What did our predecessors do NOT but 100 years ago, when it was just a wish and a prayer and the local town magistrate-in-charge wedded them?  How about the western frontiers people who went on to have 8-12 kids in their family tending the cows and farms?  No rings, they had.  And we sound like we’d go batshit if our hand/ringfinger/center stone is “not up to par”.  I sometimes wish we’d all slap ourselves, ugh lol.  Point is, we’re all fine.

Absolutely.

I held my tongue…oops..my fingers… the other day from being like there’s no way your ring size is a 6.5 cuz it looked much bigger than that.  My ring size is a 6 and I have long, skinny fingers.

Haha I’ve thought that before. Some people on the bee act like size 6 (what I wear) is basically begging for finger lipo, whereas IRL my fingers and hands are pretty tiny.

@peachacid:  gee I’m sure she appreciated you calling her out like that! What does that actually have to do with this thread and finger sizes?

I have super fat fingers to look at them but my ring finger is a size 7 but my rings are sized to an 8 because I stack 3 bands. U would never believe that my finger is a 7 by looking at it! LOL Baby Baldwin! That crazy bitch is from Canada too grrrr

@GelaMac:  LOL at ‘grrrr’!!  Girl, have you been following that case since yesterday??  I’m a native NYer and so that mess is happening in my backyard lol.  Homegirl is cray; she needs to stop holyhell lmao

Offtopic further – @BlondeMissMolly, thank you for the compliment the other day on the other thread; work fulltime and in grad school and must keep off this blog during the week, but wanted to say I saw your response, thx

My left hand is a 6, right hand is a 7. I have freakishly small wrists for a grown adult but the rest of me is normal sized. The only thing I think pics of my hands do is make them look (more) ancient!

I don’t think so, but I guess it’s possible.  My ring size is 4.5, but my previous wedding band was only a 4.25, but my new ring is a 5.  I can’t figure it out, lol.  I think my fingers photograph chunky though.  Doesn’t matter to me if people believe me or not.  It is what it is, lol.

@Mrs. Myrtle Beach:  Hear you.  Your hands are fine, I am sure.  I think it’s worse in our heads.  Same here, some days my hand pics look fine; others it looks like I’m the crypt keeper’s grandmother (and I’m talking about the ‘crypt keeper’ from the King made-for-tv series back in the 80s, so, succinctly, nightmarish).  And winter so joyously and rapidly brings on the crypt effect, how nice, right?  So I can relate.
