iarebridezilla:  the only time I have ever jumped in on a conversation is when people are trying to figure out which train to take – I work in Manhattan so there are ALWAYS tourists, so I just like to help someone out if they are trying to figure out which train to take and how to get to their destinatinon. Other than that, nope, I keep my mouth shut.

If someone hopped into my conversation, I’d tell them to mind their own damn business.  Listen in if you want to but keep your comments to yourself.

iarebridezilla:  I jump in all the time while I’m at work. Then again I teach teenagers so if they’re talking about random shit I can lol. I’m the same as others. If someone looks lost or confused then I’ll offer. I usually stay out of other topics unless it’s friends or colleagues. I don’t think it’s rude unless they are actually having a quiet convo and you are literally straining to listen.

iarebridezilla:  i dont even have to have a good reason for it. i jump in all the time. i like to jump in without even hearing the first part of the convo. usually ends up having people either annoyed or in love with my erratic sense of cutness and charm lol. but i live in an area where most people know each other. its not like im on a subway and they are usually total strangers. but if i felt inclined to i would jump into a convo from someone seated behind me on a plane lol. i also dont have a quiet voice. so anything i do say will always be heard. even my whisper is loud. must me the brazilian in me. since my grandpa was known for being super loud too

Nope. I’m from California, and we don’t talk to strangers.
