Yes. I don't have any superstitions around this either.

Yes, but I'm a little concerned with bad luck and I just don't know how to say "no."

No. I don't have any superstitions, but I'm not taking my ring off for anyone.

    No. It's horrible bad luck!

i wouldnt mind. I tried on a coworkerd on once when I was single and she seemed pleased I was admiring it.

in my opinion if you married am asswipe who is going to a crappy husband /father/person, no amount of praying or superstition will help. You rushed into the marriage or blind . Or if he unfortunately passes away it was not because someone tried on a manmade ring

I don’t have an engagement ring, but I would let people try it on. Not just anyone! You’d have to be one of my sisters or a very good friend. I’d feel weird letting anyone else play with it. I’ve tried other people’s on. My cousin’s wife has a gorgeous set, very different to what I want for my own rings, so I loved trying them on. So much fun!

No one has asked me to, I thinks thats such an odd think to ask someone. When we camp and do outdoorsy things with friends and fam, I always end up braiding all the little ones hair. I take my ring off to do this. One time a friend who was holding it for me put in and a snapchatted a pic of her hand. I thought that was so odd. It made everyone think ber BF popped the question. She thought it was hilarious. It made me super uncomfortable. I have never heard a superstition about it though.

Its not the superstition…  Its just that I don’t like other people trying on my ring.  But, if my mother wanted to try it on I would not think 2 seconds about it.

Nope, not gonna happen. I’ve never had a desire to try on anyone else’s ring and will never let anyone try on mine! DH is very adamant about this as well.

l didn’t want to and l wouldn’t say that l did let my friend to put mine on….! What happened is that my friend wanted to have a look my engagement ring closer and properly when l was newly engaged so l took my ring off and handed it for her to LOOK properly. Suddenly she put my ring on without saying anything……  l know it was my fault but l had no idea that she would put it on without asking me. l’ve never tried to put my friend’s engagement ring on when they handed to me so l wasn’t thinking that she would put it on. l’ve never taken my ring off to show my friends since that incident, haha. Lesson learnt!

I actually love seeing my ring on someone else. I get to appreciate its beauty from the perspective of how someone sees it on me. I’m proud of that thing. My fiancé did a great job and it really shows how much he knows me and loves me :).

I’m not superstitious as a rule, and I didn’t blow steam through it or anything before putting it back on but it did give me the creeps when a friend of mine put my ring on without my permission!! I’d taken my ring off in the bedroom (shared while I stayed with her for a weekend) to go and wash my hands and I came out to her looking at it on her finger and going on and on about it – this was less than a week after she called off her own wedding that was supposed to happen the very next day! That’s WHY a bunch of us were staying with her that weekend, to make sure she was okay. Again, not superstitious but it bugged the hell out of me
