Do you ever not want the search to end?

I think you could say this about anything you’re shopping for. The process of looking is fun. You get to see different things and try on different styles. I am happy to finally have my ring though, but- I’m already looking for my next project down the road, and that’s fun too. Nothing is ever written in stone! What are you thinking about now?

Uh, preaching to the choir on this one! I have been on the hunt for over 2 years and changed my mind COUNTLESS times. When this first started, we were in a better place financially. Now that I know what I want, I can’t have it! πŸ˜† So I browse the boards here, and on PS, and Instagram, and Pinterest, and dream about the day I can actually place an order. Lol!!!

I agree that shopping is the best part. It’s so much fun, especially doing a custom design! I have a wish list a mile long, so hopefully my first project won’t be my last. I can’t be broke forever, right??!! πŸ˜‚πŸ™πŸ»

ETA: Also curious what you’re thinking about. As much as I love my own projects, I equally love living vicariously through others!

michellelynn9175 :  Everything that she said!! I don’t think I will ever be done.   If there was ring ‘rehab,’ I would be first in line…and always broke!

P.S.  Don’t go over to the moissanite subreddit!!

angelwaye :  Surprisingly enough, Reddit hasn’t held my attention! For that, I am thankful. 🀣

Well, this is where my oh so shallow weakness comes into play. The hunt never does end ( yayyyyy!) so my little hoard of rings ( all of which are “perfect”) has just kept growing over the years. Luckily, I have a husband who indulges me on this one of many flaws in my personality. The initial one will always have that special place in my heart though. I wear that one the most often.

I don’t know what you’re talking about <goes back to perusing the Van Cleef and Arpels catalogue that came in the mail>.

Yeah … I don’t think I will ever stop. I’ve come to realize there is no one “perfect” or “dream” ring for me. I love jewelry. And rings are the type I love and wear the most. So I always have projects in mind. Even though I only have one official “engagement ring”, there are other special rings that I’ve received for anniversary or birthday gifts. And there are always ring projects for other fingers, too. I’m a maniac. LOL
