I take them off to:

-Do the dishes

-Clean with harsh products – bleach, etc.

-Put on something gunky, like hand cream. The cream gets all stuck in the ring, it’s really gross.

-Go to the gym

I do wear it while I’m sleeping though. I don’t know why!

We went to visit my friends and family upstate (3 hrs away) for New Years. Right before we left I did some dishes and rushed out…. and totally forgot to put my ring back on!! I noticed it about 45 minutes into the drive and was so bummed out for the rest of the weekend. 🙁 My finger was very lonely.

I take mine off whenever I clean, cook, and shower.  I also take it off when I sleep!  I put it in the box so I don’t lose it.  I take it off at work when I walk up 12 flights of stairs for exercise on my break – our building is located on a river where some homeless people have set up camp so sometimes they come into the building to warm up. I don’t want anyone to attack me and try to steal my ring! 🙂

I tried to take my ring off to do dishes or take baths, but it’s so tight! It feels nice on my finger, but it’s too tight to take on and off my knuckle. I guess my knuckles are bigger than my finger. I’m considering getting it sized up. It’s a 4.75 and I’d like a 5.

Fiance told me not to take the ring off. He said he’d rather it get gunky than me lose it. lol!

I take mine off, at least once a day, to:

-put lotion on

-blow dry my hair (my ring always gets hot & I burn myself)

-when mixing something by hand when baking or cooking.

Other than it does not come off my finger.

Yes, mostly just at night when I sleep and on cleaning and laundry days.

I take mine off to

– Shower

– Do dishes

– Wash hands

– Cooking

– Using lotion

It’s way too precious to me.  It’s J’s great grandmother’s ring that’s from the 30s.  I want it to stay perfect.  😛

BUT – I do feel a little naked right now.  I dropped off my ring to be sized (was a bit big) and was told I have to wait a week.  I really hope to get a call by tomorrow.  I’m going nuts!

I take my rings off when I shower, sleep, work out/swim, clean with bleach or something similar and when I’m cooking something messy.  At first I had moments I forgot my rings (especially at the beginning of the engagement), but it’s probably been 8 months since I forgot one of them.

Sometimes I’ll just wear my band too, like when we moved in the extremely hot and humid summertime or if I’ll be knocking my hand around because I’m scared of hurting the center stone on my e-ring.

I actually rarely wear mine because it STILL isn’t insured, and I rarely leave the house. However, whenever we do go out, I always try to put it on. It just isn’t worth losing it around the house or damaging it while doing chores until I know it can be “fixed”.

I usually take mine off when I am sleeping, shower/bathing, cleaning, cooking when my hands are going to get dirty or wet, going to gym (usually – sometimes I forget!), working with heavy or dirty things at work, and putting lotion on.

All the time! For virtually everything PPs have listed, haha. I’m going to get a small, plain wedding band so I don’t have to worry about it so much and keep it on.

The only time I wear mine is when I’m out of the house

I basically take mine off the minute I get in the house and put it on again right before I leave. I used to take it off when I did dishes/washed my hands/etc but it got misplaced too often. I also never wear it to the gym.
