ew no. i’d slap him if he did and i’d want him to slap me if I did. It’s obnoxious and totally unnecessary. You’re not even supposed to baby talk to babies, why do it to a grown man/woman?

I do (he doesn’t) but it’s only when I’m being a brat and want to bug him :3

Hell no.  It annoys me SO much when people do this.  I don’t talk to my pets like that…and I don’t talk to babies or little kids like that either.

I voted “I don’t even talk to my cat like that!” but I will be honest and admit that I do sing to the cats. Embarassed

I can’t really recall ever using a baby voice with my Fiance. Sometimes we’ll use funny voices or accents, but I do that with everyone!

I do somewhat speak to pets with a baby voice, but not much.

Lol. I am guilty of this but only when I am playing around. 99% not. It’s fun & silly to do when you’re alone.

I voted and then read the thread, and I guess I voted wrong. It’s not so much “baby talk” as it is just the way we communicate–weird voices, weird words/pronounciations, made up words…it’s our own language. USUALLY only in private, but there have been times where we’ve used our weirdo pet name in front of other people, and they’ve been like, “…wut.”

Sometimes, but only when we’re alone. I shared my first apartment with a girlfriend. She and her boyfriend would baby talk to each other 24/7 and I was about one “exsqueeze me”  away from pulling a van gogh.

We do, but it’s not flirtation. We’re just weirdos and talk in baby voices with other people on a regular basis too, and other people just look at us like we’re crazy whereas when we do it to each other, we think it’s funny so it escalates lol

We do baby talk all the time but it honestly is getting on my nerves. It was cute at first but it annoys me and I’m trying to stop and he just keeps doing it lol I don’t even know how to nicely tell him to stop doing something he’s been doing since we started dating :/

I talk to my Darling Husband in a cutesy voice when I’m flirting with him. My Darling Husband loves it. I don’t get it, but it gets me laid so whatever lol. I never do it in public though!

When I get really tired, my voice gets really high and I start sounding like a little kid. Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter if my Darling Husband or my best friend is around, that’s just what happens. We do pet names and stuff, but we don’t go overboard on the baby talk.
