I LOVE it. I can’t eat any of that, but I started drooling as I read it. It sounds rustic and delicious.

@NickysGirl14:  That sounds absolutely delicious and I’d be thrilled to eat that at a wedding!

I would just make sure to check if any of your guests are gluten intolerant/have coeliac disease – a few pizza places do provide gluten free pizza base but you’d have to request it.

@NickysGirl14:  I think that sounds COOL. But I rock climb, so there you go.
But seriously. I would have a ball at your reception.

@NickysGirl14:  I think it sounds awesome and delicious! The food will fit in well with your “theme” or “mood” you described.

Some people will argue that pizza and the like is too messy, but honestly, every food can be messy if you think about it.

One of the best weddings I ever attended was held at a park with burgers and hot dogs. There were water balloon fights and everything. Awesome.

That menu sounds great! It fits well with the setting of the wedding. I would love to be a guest at your wedding.

@NickysGirl14:  Ooooh, I love your idea! You and your Fiance sound a lot like me and my Fiance. We are also planning an outdoor wedding close to home and are low-key about it AND on a major budget.

I would be sooo happy to go to a wedding with those food options. I was actually thinking about the wood-fired pizza trailer idea myself the other day, as there is an organic farming association where I live that has a pizza trailer which they bring to events.

Probably just having a few people who are assigned to bring food to elderly relatives who can’t easily stand in line would solve that problem.

oh my god that sounds amazing, I am drooling right now just reading about it. I wish there was a food truck like that in my area!

LOVE it. The fact that you’ve already considered any potential food concerns (gluten, dairy, vegetarian) is huge. And it sounds like the set up avoids any of the typical food truck “issues” you usually think of (aka lines!)

People will only give you crap about wedding stuff if they know about it in advance. I can tell you that if Darling Husband and I showed up at a wedding that had pizza, we would both be over the moon. Tell them that the food will “be a surprise.” 🙂

Your wedding sounds like a LOT of fun!!!
