baking a whole bunch of stuff because you don’t have junk food around? Right now I’m making sugar cookies because I got a craving! The other week I made peanut butter cookies.
I figure atleast they are homemade! haha

i do this ALL. THE. TIME.
I actually started a blog yesterday because I have been baking so much I thought it would be a fun way to share my desserts and find other food bloggers.
Check it out if you get bored, I have only one post so far but I plane on updating 2 or 3 times a month.

lol I’m guilty of this too!! I always have baking ingredients in the house… I have more baking stuff than regular food usually.
I haven’t done it in awhile, but whenever I am “being good” I self sabotage by baking brownies or making some sort of cake… I usually end up giving it away to friends, but I always eat the scraps lol.

hahaha I so do this! I learned the bad habit from my mom.. she would crave brownies and bust out the cocoa powder and make them old-school style! Sometimes you just can’t kill a craving! I have a friend that gets so desparate for chocolate that she eats baking chocolate from the cabinet.. LOL

I’ve done this at my folks house, but rarely at my own. Mostly because if I do it here, it’s only me to eat it, but if I bake it at their house, I can go home and leave the extra for them to eat!
I use instant oatmeal to deal with some of my sweet cravings. I like my oatmeal with very little liquid-I only add enough water or milk so that all the oats are moist. Basically I want my oatmeal to have the texture of an oatmeal cookie that’s been dunked in milk or sitting in a puddle of melted ice cream. I often add chocolate chips to the instant oatmeal so that I can have a fake-oatmeal-chocolate-chip-cookie.
