My Darling Husband changed my type. I originally was into thin, tall guys. When I met my Darling Husband, I was instantly attracted to him even though he’s shorter (my height exactly) and has a much more muscular build. Now he’s my type! I love his muscles. 😉

When we first met, my husband thought he was a “butt man”, which is funny because I had almost no butt then (now, like, 30 lbs later, I somewhat do, but that’s probably thanks to cheesecake, haha! That is also my type.). Now he says he is a “boob man” which probably is because of mine (which are adequate! Not crazy huge or anything). I think he didn’t really know if he had a type then.
And I always liked younger guys who were tall and skinny. He’s older than me but looks younger, and is tall and skinny, so I got just what I wanted!

I don’t even know if SO has a distinct type. He once said he prefers dark hair but doesn’t care too much either way. He said that mostly he likes pretty faces and reasonably fit bodies – he likes women who work out regularly. Not too many specifics. Personality-wise, he tends to prefer women who are kind of on the conservative/traditional side, and he definitely prefers good cooks (or at least women who are willing to learn). I fit those things.
For me, my SO isn’t my usual type, to be honest. I prefer Mediterranean boys with olive complexions, dark hair, and dark eyes – SO is fluorescent white and green-eyed, though he has dark hair. But he is tall and athletic, the latter of which is a must have for me. Personality-wise, I prefer math/science types – basically guys who are good at the things I’m bad at, and he fits it to a T. But he’s also my opposite – I never thought I’d end up with someone as politically-incorrect or as blunt as he is. 😛

Fiance fits my type because I’ve always been attracted to guys with olive skin and dark hair. He’s also tall, 6’3″, which is definitely something that I find attractive. I’m only 5’3″ and all my exes have been over 6′ except one guy who I dated when I was 13-15. He is covered in tattoos though and although I use to like them when we first started dating, as I’ve gotten older I think “what have you done to your body?!” and I prefer to look at his one tattoo free forearm than anywhere else on his body lol (he actually has a UV tattoo there but it can’t be seen under natural light).
I’ve often wondered what FI’s type is but all of his exes look different. He has been with a very attractive and slim brunette (the only ex that makes me a bit self conscious). The others have had rather unattractive faces. One was a curvy brunette and the other a fat blonde who wore sooo much makeup. The longest relationship of the 3 was the fat blonde so I always considered that his type. Although I am blonde I have more of a natural looking dark blonde instead of bleach blonde and I wear very minimal makeup. I consider myself curvy at the moment but I’m currently losing weight for the wedding (down 5kg(11lbs) yay!) but I do worry he will be less attracted to me if I lose too much weight.

My Fiance is exactly my type in both the way he looks and his personality.
Me, on the other hand, BIG SIGH! My FI’s exes are all really tall and lithe (two are now working runway models). I am not 5’11, but I do have really low body fat percentage, so I guess that’s good? He also has only dated porcelain skinned ladies with pixie cuts like Anne Hathaway, who is unsurprisingly his celebrity crush. I have a Mac NC25 complexion, and really long brown hair.
My Fiance says he doesn’t have a type, but he obviously does! I’m not bothered by it though since his “type” based on previous girlfriends includes eating disorders and other mental health issues. I don’t mind not being like his exgfs in that respect!

@MrsRevolutionize: Same here! My SO insists I’m his type but he’s always been attracted to curvy, tall, fair-skinned, blue eyed brunettes where I’m petite, short, olive-skinned and brown eyed. He also seems to have liked girly girls with cute ponytails and sundresses. SO not me. I’m a huge tomboy. Haha. But, I guess if they did have a “type” before, we’ve changed it. Go us!
